Thrilled to share that I’ll be starting at the New York University School of Law this fall! I’m deeply grateful to Yeshiva University for an incredible undergraduate experience, especially to my pre-law advisor, Illana Julius, as well as my professors and everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m excited to dive into the study of law and take full advantage of all that NYU has to offer in scholarship, growth, and impact.

Ms. Julius was my advisor for all my years during undergrad at Stern College for Women, but was specifically advisory during my application process to law school. She simplified the ins and outs of what law schools were looking for from students, and was calm, patient, and clear with what was needed every step of the way. She reread my personal statement with me numerous times, and even arranged for me to meet with another experienced colleague of hers to double check my personal statement met all the criteria necessary. Ms. Julius acted as if any of my personal stumbling blocks were her own by always making herself available for academic advisement and/or any other help needed. She reached out to professors writing recommendations on my behalf to make sure they were on top of their assignments, something that was often uncomfortable to do as a student.

Overall, Ms. Julius was always a personable and helpful mentor who went to any length to assure her students were given the proper direction and advisement.
